Brazilian Companies Welcome in Iran: Min.

TEHRAN, Sep. 04 (Shana) Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh voiced Iran’s eagerness to welcome Brazilian energy companies in oil projects, saying no Brazilian company has so far indicated willingness to join projects in Iran, though.

Speaking prior to a meeting in Tehran with Brazil’s Minister of Mines and Energy Fernando Coelho Filho on Monday, Zangeneh said Brazil is like Iran a country that seeks foreign investments for developing its oil and gas sector.

“Brazilians seem to be keen on working in the refining sector in Iran,” the official added.

Iran has never exported any crude oil exports to the American market, he said, adding the continent would be Iran’s last export destination which would require studies.
